Ballet Training Program for Children Ages 6 and Up

Welcome to our comprehensive Ballet Training Program, designed to develop healthy and skilled dancers with strong classical foundations. Our curriculum caters to children aged 6 and older, allowing them to progress at their own pace from Ballet 1 to Ballet 5.

Classes Schedule

Ballet 1

At this level, the goal is to build a strong foundation in ballet technique. Our focus lies in instilling proper alignment, musicality, and a solid understanding of ballet terminology. At this level, students take 2 ballet classes and a stretch and strength class. Students must be in 1st grade or older.

Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:30 Ballet Technique + Stretch and Strength

Fridays 4:30 - 5:30 Ballet Technique class

Pricing: 10 installments of $290

Ballet 2

At this stage, dancers focus on refining technique through dedicated practice. They enhance strength and flexibility. Barre work and center exercises intensify, with complex combinations and demanding jumps, showcasing newfound skills. At this level, students take 2 ballet classes, 1 stretch and strength class, and 1 pre-pointe class. Students must be 2nd grade and 3rd grade or older.

Tuesday - 4:45 - 6:30 - Ballet Technique + Stretch and Strength

Friday - 4:15 to 5:45 - Ballet Technique + Pre-Pointe

Pricing: 10 installments of $380

Ballet 3A

In this level, students further develop their skills on the solid foundation they have already built. The main goal is to improve technique, aiming for a higher level of artistry and expression. They delve into a broader range of ballet movements, which enables them to perform intricate combinations. At this level, students take 3 ballet classes, and pre-pointe/ beginner pointe classes. Students must be in 4th grade or older.

Mondays 5:30 - 7:00 Ballet Technique class

Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30 Ballet Technique

Fridays 4:15 - 5:45 Ballet Technique + Pre-Pointe/ Beg. Pointe

Pricing: 10 installments of $480

Ballet 3B

In this level, students further develop their skills on the solid foundation they have already built. The main goal is to improve technique, aiming for a higher level of artistry and expression. Ballet 4

In this program, students are required to possess a solid technique and pointe foundation before enrolling. Now, their focus shifts towards enhancing and polishing their technical skills, strength, and artistic expression. They explore complex movements, challenging variations, and intricate pointe combinations. At this level, students take 3 ballet classes, and Pointe classes. Students must be in 6th grade or older.

Mondays 7:00 - 8:30 Ballet Technique class

Wednesdays 4:45 - 6:45 Ballet Technique + Pointe Class

Thursdays 6:15- 8:30 Ballet Technique + Pointe class

Pricing: 10 installments of $620

Full School Year Tuition

(2025 September -2026 June)

To complete enrollment, a non-refundable registration fee is required. Uniform is included in the registration fee.

  • Early Bird registration fee (valid for registrations completed by July 31st): $80 charged upon registration

  • Regular Registration fee: $95 charged upon registration.

    Payment Options:

  • 10 Payment Installments: Total tuition is divided into 10 equal installments. Payments are due by the first of each month, starting September 1st, 2025. Our tuition schedule is based on a 35-week school year, accommodating holidays and breaks which may affect class schedules.

  • Full Payment Discount: Pay in full by September 1st and receive a 5% discount on tuition. Please email us after completing your online registration.

Total tuition is not based on the number of classes per month. The tuition does not include performances fees. Please check our cancelation policy.

Performance Opportunities in Our Ballet Training Program

Nutcracker Performance

Join us for our enchanting Nutcracker Performance on December 13th and 14th, 2025. Rehearsals are scheduled as follows:

  • Ballet 1 and 2: Fridays, 5:30-6:45pm

  • Ballet 3 and 4: Fridays, 5:30-7:00pm

    Nutcracker Fee: $450 (includes rehearsals, 1 costume, and participation fee. Tickets and extra costumes not included)

Spring Gala

Our Spring Gala date is to be determined. Rehearsals for this spectacular event take place on:

  • Ballet 1 and 2: Fridays, 5:30-6:45pm

  • Ballet 3 and 4: Fridays, 5:45-7:15pm

    Spring Gala Fee: $450 (includes rehearsals, 1 costume, and participation fee. Tickets and extra costumes not included)

Annual Recital

We highly encourage all students to participate in our Annual Recital. Dates and additional information will be announced soon.

Annual Recital Fee: $220 (includes 1 costume and participation fee. Tickets and extra costumes not included)

Dress Code

Upon registration for the Edgewater Performing Art’s 2025-2026 Training Ballet Program, each dancer will receive a uniform leotard. To ensure timely delivery of the uniform, please register early. Non-uniform leotards are not permitted during classes and rehearsals to maintain consistency and professionalism.
